Frequently asked questions

Useful guidance for preparing your drawings, choosing a process and starting an international manufacturing project.

Request a Quote
How do I request a quotation?

Use our quote form to share your contact details, the manufacturing process, material, quantity and delivery destination. Include a link to your CAD files and technical drawings so we can review the project.

Which files should I prepare?

A STEP or IGES model and a PDF drawing are useful for CNC parts. For sheet metal, include the formed model and any DXF flat pattern available. STL or 3MF files can help describe a 3D printing project. Mark critical dimensions, threads, finishes and inspection requirements.

Can I order prototypes and small batches?

Yes. Tell us the quantity you need now and your expected future demand. We can discuss a manufacturing route that fits the stage of your project, from a single prototype to repeat orders.

Which materials and finishes are available?

The options depend on the process and part design. Common requests include aluminum, steel, stainless steel, brass and engineering plastics, with finishes such as anodizing, bead blasting, polishing and powder coating. Exact grades and finish specifications are confirmed in the quotation.

What tolerances can you achieve?

Tolerances depend on geometry, material, process and inspection method. Please identify critical dimensions and datums on your drawing. We will review feasibility and confirm the requirements that apply to your order before production.

How long will my order take?

Lead time depends on part complexity, quantity, material availability, finishing and delivery destination. Your quotation will state the proposed production schedule. Shipping time is considered separately.

Do you work with international customers?

Yes. WAYKING is based in Shenzhen, China and serves customers worldwide. Share your delivery address and any shipping or import requirements when requesting a quotation so that the relevant arrangements can be discussed.

Can you work under an NDA?

If your project requires an NDA, contact us through the quote form before sharing sensitive drawings. We can discuss confidentiality terms and the appropriate method for exchanging files.

What should I specify for quality inspection?

List the dimensions, material documentation, appearance criteria and inspection reports your project requires. Acceptance criteria should be agreed before production, especially for functional or regulated applications.

Can you help me choose a manufacturing process?

Tell us what the part needs to do, the expected quantity and your priorities for cost, finish and performance. We can compare CNC machining, sheet metal fabrication and 3D printing for your application.

Ready to make your next part?

Tell us what you are building. Let’s find the right way to make it.
